Negative Loop - screenplay
The first three pages of my short unproduced screenplay Negative Loop. It's a dark comedy. The best kind of comedy, in my opinion.
It was inspired by the bombardment of news and comments we receive in this day and age over what we should eat, what we should say and how we should behave.
Lisa is trapped in a padded cell. All she wants is to go home.

Dacryphilia is one of the most successful things I've written. Starting out on stage as comedy about crying (review), it was adapted into an animated screenplay, which made the semi-finals of Blue Cat in Hollywood, and then adapted into a live action scheduled to be filmed in 2018 as part of the feature film The Hidden Well.
Dacryphilia is the fetish for tears. And my story uses the metaphor of tears to explore the breakdown of a relationship.
Pablo loves to cry. Adora loves a man who cries. They were perfect for each other until the day Pablo ran out of tears. This story follows their destructive path that sees them pay the highest price for their desires.
